Donation to The Monarch School & Institute
Providing Therapeutic Education to Individuals with Neurological Differences
The Monarch School and Institute is a unique educational facility that caters to individuals with neurological differences. It is their mission to provide a transformative learning environment through innovative, therapeutic education for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder, learning disabilities, Tourette Syndrome, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, traumatic brain injury, and seizure disorders.
The Naming of the Living Building Classroom
At the Arnold & Itkin Foundation, we believe that The Monarch School's mission and values align closely with our own, and we are proud to provide our support in the pursuit of their goals. After a donation of $100,000, we were given the opportunity to name one of the buildings on the campus.
The Living Building Classroom was the final choice—a place where students utilize active decision making in an effort to achieve net zero energy and water performance. The LBC is a laboratory where students will learn the importance of wind energy, water harvesting, conservation, and more.
On December 14, Kurt and Tara Arnold and Jason and Kisha Itkin were invited to the school's campus to attend a naming ceremony. The day included the unveiling of a new plaque on the Living Building Classroom building to showcase Arnold & Itkin LLP as the donor.
